“Splendid Art City” Art Book Launch and Art Exhibition

To commemorate Singapore’s bicentennial, Life Art Society organised an Art book launch and “Splendid Art City” Exhibition on 27 July 2019 featuring the art work of 60 Life Art Society artists. Our Guest Of Honour Mr Desmond Tan graced the Opening ceremony of Life Art Society book launch and “Splendid Art City” Exhibition on 27 July 2019.

Life Art Society President Professor Tan Khim Ser lead 19 Life Art Society artists to perform the art of Chinese painting; the Long scroll of lotus painting and calligraphy of a special poem written to commemorate Singapore’s bicentennial by Khoo Teng Wah. Life Art Society President Professor Tan Khim Ser lead a group of 19 Life Art Society artists to create a long scroll Chinese ink painting of lotus and calligraphy. These artists are Benny Khong, Dr Maurice Chan, Alan Tan, Dr Rao Wei, Leong Sing Wee BBM, Gladys Shan, Lee Wah Fong, Ng See Pein, Du Feng, Mun Sook Yee, Lee Woon Yong, Shirley Bok, Yang Shwn Fen, Josephine Ho, Yeo Kwee Hua, Lena Lim, Dr Lim Yok Mei, Grace Chew, Shirley Tang. Three artists writing calligraphy of the word 福 meaning good fortune and give away 50 pieces of “福” calligraphy to the guests.

为纪念新加坡开埠200周年，更生美术研究会举办了纪念画册发布会并展示60位更生美术研究会书画家们的作品。在7月27日举行的画册发布与《辉煌盛艺》书画展上，人民协会总执行理事长陈国明先生将为书画展主持开幕典礼。

在开幕仪式上，更生会长陈教授和19位更生书画家集体创作两幅长卷作品。书画家们以行草书为各位呈现一首由邱镇发作的诗，及绘画长卷荷花图为画册发布与《辉煌盛艺》书画展掀开序幕。由陈钦赐教授带领的书画家是邝劲荣、陈国良博士、陈维鸣、饶为博士、梁诚炜BBM、單秋萍、李华芳、黄诗评、杜枫、文淑仪、李焕容、莫夏玲、楊淑芬、何明钻、杨桂华、林淑华、林玉梅医生、周翠娥、郑瑞芳。更生的三位书画家，邝劲荣、陈国良博士、李华芳也在开幕当日为公众书写50幅《福》字赠送给公众。
